Happé Hour with Glamour
When we were recently invited to host an office parté tasting for the staff at Glamour Magazine we felt obligated to bring our É game. We love to entertain and create experiences that compliment our wine in every way. This was the perfect opportunité. We went with a summery theme that proved to be a perfect pairing with Yes Way Rosé: a modern, pink-infused French picnic. The editors seemed to enjoy themselves as there wasn’t a drop of wine left (our sign that an event was a success). Here’s what we used for the decor, food, and flowers.
For the surfaces we used gingham table cloths in pink and black found on Amazon. The pink cloth especially set the tone for a cheerful tasting.
Our favorite party supply source is Oh Happy Day. The paper plates and napkins in both pink and very French black and white stripes make us, well, happé. Check out the site and be instantly inspired to throw a soiree.
To keep the the wine super chilled, and plenty of it, we used this graphic two tone beverage tub that now goes with us everywhere.
Our friends at Urban Stems sent over a beautiful bouquet with an array of pink roses, dianthus, and thistle that we deconstructed a bit to spread out the roses throughout the spread.
The pièce de résistance at our tasting was a crudité platter from New York’s West~Bourne featuring raw and cooked vegetable, the most delicious beet chips, and shallot labneh and walnut bagna caude for the dips. The fresh veggies were gorgeous and delicious with the dry, crisp wine.
