Yes Way Birthdé!

September is birthdé month at Yes Way Rosé! Naturallé we’re a couple of Virgos, just like Rosé which is generally harvested in September and Beyoncé.

After seeing this article in the September issue of Vanity Fair how could we not go to La Crémaillère in Bedford, NY for a celebration? The decision to take the train to Westchester solely for lunch at a pink table cloth French restaurant proved a great one. For a few hours it felt like we were transported to our happiest place: Provence.

The food was rich and perfectly prepared. Nikki enjoyed a special seafood bisque to start, the sauté of beef sirloin and a fancy candy bar for desert. I had the vegetable potage, Roasted chicken and chocolate soufflé. We always share and agreed that the chicken served in a morel mushroom tarragon sauce with egg noodles and vegetables was the most out-of-this-world dish. It was so tender that each bite almost inspired a tear.

We both washed it down with a classic dry Rosé from Provence, duh, but the expansive wine list is mostly dedicated to Bordeaux and other French Reds. If we weren’t already in need of a nap from the food we would of indulged.
